About The Position

Arrow Senior Living is seeking a Server to join our team at Boulevard Wentzville. This role is part-time and involves creating a welcoming environment for residents, preparing for meal services, maintaining tidiness, and observing resident dining habits. The ideal candidate will be at least sixteen years old, proficient in English, possess a positive and energetic attitude, and be physically capable of standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 pounds. The role also requires assisting residents with mobility and ensuring a safe and clean dining area.

Requirements

• At least sixteen (16) years of age.
• Read, write, understand, and communicate in English at a minimum of 8th grade proficiency.
• Positive and energetic attitude.
• Physically active, requiring standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
• Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking.
• Ability to assist persons after a fall.
• Criminally cleared.

Responsibilities

• Greet residents and make them feel welcome.
• Be present in the dining room, mingle, and entertain.
• Foster an environment where residents can connect.
• Prepare tables for service, salads, and roll silverware.
• Bus tables and sweep floors.
• Communicate with supervisors and Wellness regarding resident dietary habits, appetite changes, and absences from meals.
