About The Position

The Server accommodates residents and guests during their dining experience by attending to their needs in a friendly, timely, and professional manner. This is a part-time dining role at Allegro Harrington Park, an assisted living community. The posting describes consistent schedules and early shifts with no late-night restaurant hours.

Servers help create a welcoming dining experience for residents and guests and contribute to a clean, safe dining environment. Food-serving experience is preferred, but not required.

Requirements

• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• Must pay attention to detail, be flexible and adaptable, have safety awareness, and be a team player.
• Must pass a criminal background screening.
• Associates are subject to the company Drug Free Workplace policy.

Responsibilities

• Greet and seat residents and guests in a timely and professional manner.
• Approach and interact with residents and guests in a friendly, service-oriented, and professional manner.
• Serve food efficiently and professionally.
• Clear glasses, silverware, dishes, and other items from tables after residents and guests finish a course or meal, following company protocol.
• Maintain a clean dining room; wipe down and sanitize chairs, windows, floors, and work areas after every meal period.
• Deliver and retrieve trays to and from residents’ apartments as needed.
• Label and date all food.
• Perform other job duties as assigned.
