About The Position

Provides service to our guests by delivering food and drinks. This role involves acknowledging and welcoming guests, promptly taking and serving orders, responding to guest requests, and processing payments. The Server also promotes guest relations by providing information about promotions and assistance, and maintaining a friendly and courteous demeanor. Additionally, the role includes managing transactions, ensuring stations are stocked and clean, and maintaining safe and sanitary dining areas.

Responsibilities

• Provides guests with service by acknowledging and welcoming guests entering the casino and assigned areas, promptly taking and serving orders, responding to guest requests, and collecting and processing payment and returning change following established procedures.
• Promotes guest relations by responding to guest requests, offering appropriate up to date information regarding promotional contests and giveaways, providing requested assistance, and treating guests in a friendly and courteous manner.
• Provides accounting of transactions during shift by entering cash transactions in point-of-sale system, counting currency, logging guest discounts, VIP points and credit cards on cashier drop work sheet, balancing money drawer against generated cashier report following established procedures, and reporting discrepancies to the food services management team.
• Ensures restaurant stations are stocked and clean by completing and submitting supply requisitions, placing delivered water, food and supplies, cups and condiments in the server stations, and cleaning shelves, condiment holders, tables and counters according to established procedures.
• Maintains safe and sanitary dining areas by cleaning surfaces, emptying ashtrays, picking up used trays, plates, cups, condiments and utensils and disposing of all trash.
