About The Position

Morada Senior Living is seeking a Server to join its team. The role provides friendly, timely meal and drink service to residents and guests while maintaining food-service, cleanliness, safety, and hospitality standards in the dining room. The Server also helps orient and train new food servers and performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Previous experience in fine dining preferred.

Responsibilities

Use proper food-handling and food-service techniques.
Take meal and drink orders and serve meals in a friendly and timely manner.
Ensure residents and guests are satisfied with their meals.
Know daily specials and have a general description of all food items; explain them to residents or guests.
Keep assigned tables and surrounding areas clean, presentable, and ready for service.
Follow daily, weekly, and monthly cleaning schedules.
Assist with orienting and training new food servers.
Follow all safety and loss-prevention procedures.
Set up and clean the dining room while maintaining or exceeding hospitality and service standards.
Maintain or exceed standards for appearance, cleanliness, personal sanitation, and hygiene.
Complete opening and closing checklist criteria.
Help maintain proper directional flow, organization, and placement of supplies in the dining room and surrounding areas.
Perform other duties as assigned.
