Server 4pm-7:30pm $15-21.50 (Part Time)
About The Position
Arrow Senior Living is seeking a Server to join our team at Buckingham located at 1602 Buckingham Street, Saint Joseph, MO 64506. This is a part-time position with a pay range of $15 - $21.50 per hour. The shift schedule is Monday and Sunday from 4:00 pm to 7:30 pm. As a Server, you will be responsible for greeting residents, fostering a welcoming environment, preparing tables and meals, bussing tables, maintaining cleanliness, and observing residents' dietary habits and appetite changes. We are looking for individuals who are at least sixteen years old, can communicate effectively in English, possess a positive and energetic attitude, are physically capable of standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, and lifting up to 50 pounds, can assist residents with mobility and after falls, and are criminally cleared.
Requirements
- Must be at least sixteen (16) years of age.
- Can read, write, understand, and communicate in English at a minimum of 8th grade proficiency.
- Must have a positive and energetic attitude.
- Must be active as this role requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
- Must have the ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking, as well as assisting persons after a fall.
- Must be criminally cleared.
Responsibilities
- Greet residents and make them feel welcome.
- Be present in the dining room, mingle, and entertain.
- Foster an environment where residents can connect.
- Prepare tables for service, salads for the next meal, or roll silverware.
- Bus tables.
- Sweep floors.
- Communicate with supervisors and Wellness when poor dietary habits or unusual changes in appetite are observed.
- Communicate when residents are absent from meals.
