Server at Alto Grayslake
About The Position
Alto Grayslake is seeking friendly and dependable Servers to join their dining team. This role involves accommodating residents and guests during their dining experience by attending to their needs in a friendly, timely, and professional manner. The position offers opportunities for full-time, part-time, and PRN schedules, with no late nights. A Food Handler Certificate is a plus, but training is provided for the right candidate. Previous restaurant or hospitality experience is preferred but not required. If you enjoy providing great service and being part of a welcoming team, this could be the role for you.
Requirements
- Must be a minimum of 16 years of age.
- Must pay attention to detail, be flexible/adaptable, have safety awareness, and be a team player.
- Must have positive Criminal Background Screening.
- Adherence to the Company Drug Free Workplace policy.
Nice To Haves
- Food Handler Certificate is a plus.
- Previous restaurant or hospitality experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Greet and seat residents and guests in a timely and professional manner.
- Approach and interact with residents and guests in a friendly, service-oriented, and professional manner.
- Serve food in an efficient and professional manner.
- Clear tables of glasses, silverware, dishes, etc. when residents and guests have finished a course or their meal according to Company protocol.
- Maintain a clean dining room. Chairs, windows, floors, and all work areas should be wiped down and sanitized after every meal period.
- Deliver and retrieve trays to and from residents’ apartments as needed.
- Label and date all food.
- Other job duties as assigned.
