About The Position

Lake Lawn Resort is seeking a friendly, energetic Server to join the team at Lookout Bar & Eatery. This guest-facing hospitality role is responsible for delivering exceptional food and beverage service, creating memorable dining experiences, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness, efficiency, and customer satisfaction. Ideal candidates have previous serving experience, strong communication skills, and a passion for hospitality.

Requirements

  • Previous server, waitstaff, restaurant, bar, or hospitality experience preferred.
  • Experience using POS systems; Agilysys experience preferred.
  • Strong communication and multitasking skills in a fast-paced environment.
  • Positive attitude with excellent guest service skills.
  • Ability to work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Wine knowledge or willingness to learn preferred.
  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Frequent lifting, carrying, bending, reaching, and repetitive motion.
  • Ability to lift and carry trays, dishes, and restaurant supplies.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Greet guests promptly and provide professional, friendly customer service.
  • Take accurate food and beverage orders using the POS system.
  • Explain daily specials, menu items, and restaurant promotions.
  • Serve meals and drinks promptly while ensuring order accuracy.
  • Monitor guest satisfaction throughout the dining experience and respond quickly to requests.
  • Set and reset dining tables with linens, silverware, condiments, and décor according to restaurant standards.
  • Prepare garnishes and stock service items such as butter, creamers, crackers, coffee, and condiments.
  • Complete opening, side work, and closing duties as assigned.
  • Maintain clean, organized, and fully stocked service stations.
  • Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards.
  • Work closely with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth service.
  • Utilize wine knowledge to recommend pairings and enhance guest experiences.
