About The Position
The Server creates memorable dining experiences by welcoming and monitoring guests, ensuring satisfaction with food and service, and responding promptly and courteously to requests. The role requires staying knowledgeable about menu offerings, food and beverages, dietary restrictions, and restaurant services; completing shift side work and maintaining service areas; and presenting final bills, processing payments, and reporting gratuities in accordance with IRS income-reporting standards. Servers are expected to bring positive energy, support coworkers, and work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
Requirements
- Be at least 18 years of age.
- Have at least one year of prior restaurant or relevant experience.
- Communicate effectively with managers, employees, and guests.
- Have a flexible schedule to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Be able to stand and walk constantly, with occasional stooping, kneeling, pushing, pulling, or lifting.
- Bring positive energy, assist fellow support staff, and work as a team player.
Responsibilities
- Welcome and greet guests, monitor their dining experience, and ensure they are satisfied with the food and service.
- Respond promptly and courteously to guest requests.
- Stay educated on menu offerings and answer questions about food, beverages, dietary restrictions, and restaurant functions and services.
- Perform required side work for each shift and maintain service areas throughout the shift.
- Prepare and present final bills, process payments, and report gratuities received in accordance with IRS income-reporting standards.
