About The Position

Lakeside Manor is seeking a Server to deliver exceptional dining and table experiences to its tenants and their guests. The Server will be an integral part of the service team, helping to create a quality living environment for seniors. Reporting to the Hospitality Manager, the Server will provide exemplary meal service across dining rooms and designated areas, guided by the Vibrant Advantage™ approach to meet and exceed expectations.

Serving it Right Certification
Food Safe Certification
WHMIS Certification
First Aid Certificate

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in dining, hospitality, and/or full-service senior living is preferred
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong organizational and time management abilities with proven multitasking skills
Good judgement, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities
A true team player who understands that success comes from working together
Friendly, energetic personality with a passion for creating memorable guest experiences through warm, genuine service

Responsibilities

Set up, serve, and maintain dining rooms and designated service areas
Take meal and beverage orders following established policies and Serving it Right guidelines
Handle food in accordance with Food Safe sanitary procedures and regulatory standards
Respond attentively and efficiently to tenant requests, questions, concerns, and complaints
Take ownership of tenant issues and follow up to ensure satisfaction
Wash plates, utensils, and glassware; assist with light kitchen food prep (soups, salads, entrees, desserts)
Report any maintenance needs to the Hospitality Manager
Follow WHMIS protocols, infection control guidelines, and maintain MSDS
Ensure compliance with all Health and Safety policies and support Risk Management programs
Perform other duties as assigned
