Server 6:30am-2pm $16-19.50 (Part Time)
About The Position
Arrow Senior Living is seeking a Server to join our team at Rushwood. This role involves greeting residents, fostering a welcoming environment, preparing tables and meals, maintaining cleanliness, and observing residents' dietary habits. The ideal candidate will be at least sixteen years old, proficient in English, possess a positive and energetic attitude, and be physically capable of standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, and lifting up to 50 pounds. The role also requires assisting residents with mobility and ensuring a safe environment. We are committed to promoting from within and value our team members.
Requirements
- At least sixteen (16) years of age.
- Read, write, understand, and communicate in English at a minimum of 8th grade proficiency.
- Positive and energetic attitude.
- Active, requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
- Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
- Must be criminally cleared.
Responsibilities
- Greet residents and make them feel welcome.
- Be present in the dining room, mingle, and entertain residents.
- Foster an environment where residents can connect.
- Prepare tables for service, salads for the next meal, and roll silverware.
- Bus tables and sweep floors.
- Communicate with supervisors and Wellness regarding poor dietary habits, changes in appetite, or resident absences from meals.
- Assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking.
- Assist persons after a fall.
