About The Position

Arrow Senior Living is seeking a Server to join our team at Mallard Point in Cedar Falls, IA. This is a part-time position with a shift schedule of Monday, Tuesday, and Sunday from 4:30pm to 7:30pm. The role involves creating a welcoming environment for residents, preparing tables and meals, maintaining cleanliness, and observing residents' dietary habits and appetite changes. We are looking for an energetic and positive individual who enjoys interacting with residents and can meet the physical demands of the role.

Requirements

At least sixteen (16) years of age.
Ability to read, write, understand, and communicate in English at a minimum of 8th grade proficiency.
Positive and energetic attitude.
Must be active, requiring standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and stooping all day.
Ability to frequently lift and/or move items up to 50 pounds.
Ability to assist residents with sitting, standing, and walking.
Ability to assist persons after a fall.
Must be criminally cleared.

Responsibilities

Greet residents and make them feel welcome.
Be present in the dining room, mingle, and entertain residents.
Foster an environment where residents can connect.
Prepare tables for service, salads for the next meal, and roll silverware.
Bus tables and sweep floors.
Communicate with supervisors and Wellness regarding poor dietary habits or unusual changes in appetite.
Report when residents are absent from meals.
