No other community comes close. The Promontory Club, located just outside of Park City, Utah is looking to fulfill a vacancy for Food and Beverage Beach Club Server – Full time Summer Seasonal. The Beach Clubhouse is a colorful environment inspired by the classic beach ball that brings back childhood memories. Serving Caribbean inspired light lunch menu options, the Beach Club indoor/outdoor cafe is a casual dining experience. The summer season will range from Mid-May through Mid-September. This position will have the ability for top performers to continue their employment with Promontory after the summer season and become full-time, permanent employees.

Requirements

  • Must have or be able to acquire a State of Utah Food Handler's Permit within two weeks of employment.
  • Must have a recognized alcohol server training card by the Utah Department of Alcohol and Beverage Control (UDABC).
  • Must be at least 21 years of age for serving alcoholic beverages (UDABC).
  • Must have strong communication and organization skills.
  • Must have a high attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment all while maintaining a high level of professionalism.
  • Must be willing to work various hours, nights, holidays and weekends when needed.
  • Must be able to stand on feet for long periods of time.
  • Ability to lift 25lbs regularly and the ability to lift up to 50lbs occasionally.
  • Must be willing to work at any F&B outlet when required.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Nice To Haves

  • High School diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.
  • Previous experience working in a casual restaurant environment is preferred.
  • Previous experience working with a POS software (Northstar) is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Check in Member(s) and their guests.
  • Greet the Member(s) and their guests in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Engage the Members in such a way that you develop a good rapport with them.
  • Take the Members food and beverage orders, making suggestions and explaining choices as needed.
  • Communicate any special requests or other important order details that Members have informed you of.
  • Deliver exceptional service to Members and guests.
  • Deliver prepared food and beverages to guest’s tables, ensuring satisfaction with the quality of the meal.
  • Prepare and present the check, performing necessary cashier services upon request to expedite the process of payment.
  • Buss tables, sweep under tables and wipe down chairs to maintain cleanliness and neatness of the entire restaurant area including floors, windows and countertops, during and after meals.
  • Complete assigned side work prior to starting or ending a shift.
  • Always have a positive attitude and be team oriented.
  • Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries and unsafe work practices to management; complete safety training and certifications.
  • Maintain files of Safety Data Sheets and follow safe work practices.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Beach Club Manager.
