No other community comes close. The Promontory Club, located just outside of Park City, Utah is looking to fulfill a vacancy for Food and Beverage Beach Club Bartender – Full time Summer Seasonal. The Beach Clubhouse is a colorful environment inspired by the classic beach ball that brings back childhood memories. Serving Caribbean inspired light lunch menu options, the Beach Club indoor/outdoor cafe is a casual dining experience. We are looking to competitively compensate experienced bartenders who have a proven record of excellent service, attention to detail, maintenance of portion control and are able to complete all activities to keep us compliant with UDABC legal standards. The summer season will range from Mid-May through Mid-September. This position will have the ability for top performers to continue their employment with Promontory after the summer season and become full-time, permanent employees.

Requirements

Must have or be able to acquire a State of Utah Food Handler's Permit within two weeks of employment.
Must have a recognized alcohol server training card by the Utah Department of Alcohol and Beverage Control (UDABC).
Must be at least 21 years of age for serving alcoholic beverages (UDABC).
Two (2) years of previous bartending experience is preferred.
Previous experience working in a casual restaurant environment is preferred.
Previous experience working with a POS software (Northstar) is preferred.
Must have strong communication and organization skills.
Must have a high attention to detail and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment all while maintaining a high level of professionalism.
Must be willing to work various hours, nights, holidays and weekends when needed.
Must be able to stand on feet for long periods of time.
Ability to lift 25lbs regularly and the ability to lift up to 50lbs occasionally.
Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Nice To Haves

High School diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.

Responsibilities

Greet the Member(s) and their guests in a friendly and professional manner.
Engage the Members in such a way that you develop good rapport with them.
Knowledge of traditional cocktail recipes and mixology techniques.
Maintain a clean, organized and professional bar.
Completion of assigned opening and closing side work.
Work independently and collaboratively, be punctual and well groomed.
Uniforms are provided.
Complete assigned side work prior to starting or ending a shift.
Always have a positive attitude and be team oriented.
Follow all company safety and security policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries and unsafe work practices to management; complete safety training and certifications.
Maintain files of Safety Data Sheets and follow safe work practices.
Other duties as assigned by the Beach Club Supervisor and/or Manager.
