About The Position

The Server serves food to residents and guests in an in-house fine-dining restaurant. The restaurant features made-to-order dining, fresh ingredients, and evolving seasonal and regional menus. The role includes preparing tables, presenting menus, answering questions, making suggestions about food and service, and relaying orders to the kitchen. Servers also serve courses, clear and reset tables, and help keep dining areas and service stations clean, stocked, and orderly. Food handler certifications must be maintained. The employer provides training, and the position has no late nights.

Responsibilities

• Prepare tables and present menus.
• Answer questions and make suggestions regarding food and service.
• Remain knowledgeable about posted daily specials.
• Write food orders and relay them to the kitchen.
• Serve courses from the kitchen and service bars.
• Clear and reset counters or tables at the conclusion of each course.
• Help keep dining tables, chairs, floors, linens, and serving stations clean, bussed, and stocked.
• Maintain required food handler certifications.
