About The Position

Your job as a Server / Waitstaff is key in making sure our residents enjoy great service and delicious meals. Working closely with our Culinary Director, you'll help make sure tasty dishes get smoothly from the kitchen to the table. Our Culinary team does more than serve meals; we create memories and build connections. Join us and help redefine the culinary experience in Senior Living.

Requirements

Prior serving, restaurant experience preferred.
Requires the ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing, to perform job responsibilities and follow safety and operational procedures.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Be friendly and easy to approach to make guests feel welcome.
Stay positive, especially when it's busy, to keep things happy.
Be patient and understanding when customers have requests or concerns.
Notice when things need to be clean, helping keep the dining area tidy and safe.
Criminal Background Screening is required.

Responsibilities

Coordinate the activities and workflow of the serving team during meals to keep things flowing smoothly.
Serve as a point of contact for the serving team during meals to troubleshoot issues.
Check that dishes look perfect before giving them to residents.
Talk to residents in a friendly way, share the daily menu, and make sure they're happy.
Keep the kitchen and dining room clean and follow rules to keep the food safe.
Tell the kitchen about any special requests clearly.
After each meal, set up the Dining Room again and take pride in how it looks.
