About The Position

Join us as a Server Trainer to mentor and foster a culture of excellence. In this key role, you'll act as the lead server while onboarding and training new staff, providing constructive feedback, and ensuring impeccable service standards across all dining areas. This is a Part-Time Server Trainer position, working 30 hours a week with shifts from 11:30 AM to 8:00 PM and 6:30 AM to 2:30 PM. Please note that the Florida Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) requires all new hires to successfully complete and pass an extensive Level 2 background screening, which covers U.S. Federal, State and City checks (submitting fingerprints), prior to the start of employment. Chatsworth is located in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, on the grounds of prestigious PGA National. Requirements

  • Previous experience in the role being trained, along with a positive review status, reports working on time, and good attendance.
  • Flexible schedule required, including weekends and holidays.
  • Be able to lift and/or move objects weighing up to 25 pounds.
  • Ability to work in extreme temperatures including hot kitchen to refrigerators and freezers.
  • Must successfully complete and pass an extensive Level 2 background screening (U.S. Federal, State and City checks, submitting fingerprints) prior to employment.

  • Experience in a kitchen/service environment preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the lead server while onboarding and training new staff.
  • Provide constructive feedback to new staff.
  • Ensure impeccable service standards across all dining areas.
  • Greet guests promptly as they arrive at their table.
  • Inform guests of daily specials and provide detailed explanations of menu items, including ingredients and cooking methods.
  • Train new servers, runners, bussers, utility staff, and catering team members.
  • Address guest complaints in a positive and professional manner.
  • Ensure that both the front of the house and kitchen adhere to sanitation standards.
  • Complete tasks such as bussing, running, meal plating, and utility and catering duties.
  • Handle multiple tasks efficiently and with a sense of urgency.
