Server Product Architect (RISC-V) – Sr. Director

QualcommAustin, TX
$284,900 - $427,300

About The Position

We are dedicated to transforming server-class computing by reimagining silicon and developing nextgeneration platforms optimized for performance, energy efficiency, scalability, and reliability. By joining our team, you will collaborate with world-class engineers to define architecture for high-performance server products that meet demanding customer and data center requirements. We are seeking a highly experienced Server Product Architect with RISC-V product experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in CPU server architecture and a strong track record architecting complex, high-performance, low-power designs at advanced process nodes. This critical role will define the architecture of a server SoC that meets demanding customer KPIs across performance, power, area, cost, reliability, security, and scalability. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of RISC-V CPU and SoC architecture, including chiplet architecture, coherency management, memory systems, power management, RAS, security, debug, and test architecture. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills are essential for translating product requirements into clear architectural trade-offs and decisions. In this role, you will define architecture for a RISC-V server SoC, translate customer and platform requirements into measurable KPIs, and guide cross-functional architecture decisions across CPU, memory, IO, power, RAS, security, debug, and test domains.
