About The Position

HI Lake Louise offers an experience and memories that will last a lifetime. We provide subsidized housing with free Wi-Fi, fun activities, and a relaxed working environment. This role is part of the day-to-day operations of Bill Peyto's Cafe, reporting to the Dining Room Supervisor. The Server/Host is responsible for delivering high-quality customer service by greeting and serving cafe guests in a friendly, timely, and professional manner.

Responsibilities

• Greeting guests warmly as they arrive and thanking them as they leave
• Managing walk in seating flow and waitlist
• Seating guests efficiently while balancing table rotations and service needs
• Helping clear tables and set tables
• Providing information about hours and menu offerings
• Supporting the service team by communicating table status and guest needs
• Keeping the host stand and front-of-house area organized and presentable
• Handling guest concerns or directing issues to management when needed
• Maintaining a friendly, calm, and professional presence during busy periods
• Assisting with basic side duties such as menus, cleaning, and cutlery
