The primary responsibility of the VIP Server is to ensure that all guest needs are met promptly, professionally, and efficiently. With a professional appearance, the VIP Server is responsible for responding to guest needs, requests, complaints, and other unusual situations. This role involves taking food and beverage orders using "one-on-one" world-class service, providing personalized service, and using guest names. The VIP Server will review VIP reservations with the Casino Host, familiarize themselves with the guests they are to service, and work daily with the Culinary Department to learn about daily food items and their preparation for VIP guests. The goal is to process guest orders to provide an experience that exceeds expectations, observe guests for satisfaction, and respond to additional requests. Maintaining a clean and professional appearance at all times is crucial. The role includes taking orders for alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, garnishing, and serving them. Maintaining strict cleanliness of the Lounge by clearing dishes within a set timeframe, keeping food display and serving areas clean, and notifying the proper department if cleaning assistance is needed are key duties. The VIP Server must maintain a very clean and organized Micros station and accurately ring in all drinks served to guests. Punctuality and readiness to work are expected. Ensuring the safety and security of team members and customers, and complying with all policies and procedures established by Bally’s Kansas City Casino and departmental management are also required. Other duties as assigned or any reasonable request from management and supervisors may be part of the role.
