About The Position

The primary responsibility of the VIP Server is to ensure that all guest needs are met promptly, professionally, and efficiently. With a professional appearance, the VIP Server is responsible for responding to guest needs, requests, complaints, and other unusual situations. This role involves taking food and beverage orders, providing personalized service, and working closely with the Casino Host and Culinary Department to create an exceptional experience for VIP guests. The server must maintain a clean and organized work environment, process orders accurately, and ensure the safety and security of guests and team members.

Requirements

Strong career background in guest service field is preferred.
Two years food and beverage service, preferably in the casino industry or up-scale setting.
Must possess vast knowledge of food & beverages, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic, to include wine, champagne, cordials, single malt scotches, & aperitifs.
Able to work in an upscale environment, in a friendly upbeat manner.
Must be able to multi-task and work successfully with little to no supervision.

Responsibilities

Ensure all guest's needs are met in a prompt, professional, and efficient manner.
Respond to guest's needs, requests, complaints, and other unusual situations with a professional appearance.
Take food and beverage orders from guests using "one-on-one" world class service.
Provide personalized service and use guest name.
Review VIP reservations with the Casino Host and become familiar with guests to be serviced.
Work daily with the Culinary Department to learn daily food items and preparation methods for VIP guests.
Process guest orders to provide an experience that exceeds their expectations.
Observe guests to ensure satisfaction and respond to additional requests.
Maintain a clean and professional appearance at all times.
Take orders for drinks, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic, and garnish and serve drinks.
Maintain strict cleanliness of the Lounge by clearing dishes from tables within a set timeframe, keeping food display and counter where food is served clean at all times, and notifying the proper department if assistance is needed in cleaning.
Maintain a very clean & organized Micros station and ring in all drinks served to guests.
Arrive on time and ready to work.
Ensure the safety and security of team members and customers.
Comply with all policies and procedures established by Bally’s Kansas City Casino and departmental management.
Perform other duties as assigned or any reasonable request from any member of management and supervisors.
