About The Position

The Lounge Server provides exceptional quality and service to Septimo Lounge guests. In this role, you will be tasked with providing an expertly served beverage or dining experience; anticipating the guests’ needs and as an expert on the menu options; and delivering memorable guest experiences.

Requirements

• An outgoing personality and a can-do approach to an assigned task
• High level of understanding and knowledge of food and wine
• Must be able to work all shifts including, weekends, and holidays.
• Minimum two years fine dining experience.
• Requires oral proficiency in the English Language
• Candidates must have valid authorization to work in the United States at the time of application.

Nice To Haves

• Background in Luxury Resort and Hotel considered an asset

Responsibilities

• Provide an enjoyable dining experience through excellence for quality, professionalism, and friendliness.
• Anticipate guest needs and satisfaction; offer suggestions, and respond urgently and appropriately to guest concerns and requests.
• Assist in clearing and resetting tables according to service standards.
• Has complete knowledge of food and beverage products and specifications.
• Clears and resets tables as quickly as possible.
• Operates as a member of a team, helping others and requesting help as needed.
• Performs other restaurant duties as requested by management.
• Keep all stations supplied with silverware, glassware, share plates, bread plates, placemats, condiments, sugar, coffee, tea, etc.
• Makes sure that the guest’s check is completed properly and presented promptly according to std.
• Ensures that change or charge slip is returned to the guest in a timely manner.
• Communicates the needs of the guests to kitchen and management.
• Informs management of guests’ reactions and comments.
• Assists management as needed to ensure smooth operation and quality service.
• Controls the amount of alcohol served, so that guests do not become intoxicated.
• Helps promote a safe and clean environment for co-workers and guests.
