Server - Food (Buffet)
About The Position
This role is responsible for developing and maintaining a service culture that ensures superior internal and external guest service. The server will adhere to all regulatory, departmental, and company policies and procedures. Key responsibilities include taking guest orders accurately and promptly, using guest names when possible, maintaining clean and organized work areas, performing daily maintenance of bar equipment, pre-bussing tables, and taking dirty dishes to the dish station. The role may also involve handling cash transactions for beverage charges and maintaining inventory levels through ordering and restocking. Knowledge of all promotions and events is also required. Other duties may be assigned as needed.
Requirements
- Must be able to take orders from guests in a timely manner and correctly.
- Must be able to use the guests name when possible.
- Must be able to keep work areas clean and organized.
- Must be able to perform daily maintenance of all bar equipment.
- Must be able to pre-bus tables and take dirty dishes to the dish station.
- Must be able to receive funds (cash for beverage charges).
- Must be able to maintain par levels related to inventory ordering and restocking as needed.
- Must have knowledge of all promotions and events.
