Server Engineer Colombia

We are seeking a Server Engineer to join our team at Rush Street Interactive. As a Server Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality and impactful products that align with our company's values. You will work independently on most aspects of the project while also collaborating with peers to ensure outstanding results. Your role will be crucial in the success of our team's projects, and you will be expected to handle complex tasks autonomously. If you have a technical degree, at least 4 years of software development experience, and proficiency in JAVA 11+, Gradle, Spring, OracleDB, Postgres DB, Git/Github, then we would love to hear from you.

• Implement software solutions with high quality
• Follow through with the code written and make sure it is always tested
• Conduct code reviews
• Diagnose and fix bugs with medium complexity
• Analyze information from third parties to plan integration projects
• Estimate the effort for user stories
• Work collaboratively with team members from different roles
• Give accurate status updates about ongoing tasks
• Share knowledge and lessons learned with other Server Engineers

• Technical degree or above in areas related to Computer Science
• 4+ years of experience in software development
• Intermediate level of written and verbal communication in English
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
• Proficient in JAVA 11+, Gradle, Spring, OracleDB, Postgres DB, Git/Github
• Basic knowledge of Redis, Docker, Jenkins, Test automation (unit tests, integration tests, etc.)
