About The Position

The Alchemist is seeking a Server/Bartender for their craft cocktail bar in downtown White Bear Lake. This hybrid role involves both serving tables and working behind the bar, adapting to the needs of each shift. The bar focuses on creative, high-quality cocktails and exceptional hospitality, with a menu featuring house-made syrups, infusions, clarified cocktails, and specialty garnishes. While experience is valued, a strong interest in craft cocktails, mixology, and a willingness to learn are paramount. The ideal candidate will provide knowledgeable, friendly service, work efficiently in a busy environment, maintain cleanliness, and contribute positively to the team.

Requirements

• Previous serving or bartending experience preferred
• Interest in craft cocktails and mixology
• Willingness to learn cocktails, spirits, ingredients, and techniques
• Ability to provide knowledgeable, friendly service without being overly formal
• Comfortable serving tables as well as bartending
• Ability to work well in a busy environment and stay organized
• Attention to detail
• Dependability and ability to work well with the team
• Takes pride in keeping their bar and service areas clean and ready for service
