About The Position

As a key member of our team the Server is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service to all guests. They will provide prompt and courteous service, accurate order-taking, and a comprehensive understanding of our menu offerings and daily specials. Always maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor, the Server ensures that every guest enjoys a luxurious and memorable dining experience.

Requirements

  • 1 year experience working in a serving position.
  • Experience providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills.
  • Excellent team player with positive interpersonal skills and professional personality.
  • Flexible and adaptable, able to work well under pressure.
  • Strong ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with team members.
  • Ability to handle money accurately and operate a point-of-sale system.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to monitor the entire dining and bar areas.
  • Availability to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Physical ability to stand and walk for long periods.
  • Serving It Right Certificate.

Responsibilities

  • Engage with guests in a friendly manner, providing exceptional customer service.
  • Take food and beverage orders, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
  • Identify and communicate guests’ special dietary needs and requests.
  • Maintain extensive knowledge of the menu, including bar items, and provide suggestions.
  • Serve food and beverages professionally and courteously.
  • Ensure guests are enjoying their meal and promptly address any issues.
  • Take and process guest feedback constructively.
  • Anticipate and respond to additional guest needs.
  • Prepare accurate bills and collect payments efficiently.
  • Set and clean tables according to standards, ensuring cleanliness and repair of all items used.
  • Perform designated cleaning tasks, including opening and closing routines.
  • Adhere to grooming and appearance standards consistently.
  • Promptly address guest service issues and refer to management when necessary.
  • Assist with special events as needed.
  • Strive to work cohesively with all Food & Beverage team members.
  • Follow OH&S standards and all resort policies and procedures to ensure a safe workspace.
  • Additional tasks and duties as assigned.
