About The Position

New Albany Country Club is seeking to hire server/bartenders for its Men's Grill dining outlet. The Men's Grill is a casual dining area catering to golf members and guests, offering food and drinks before or after rounds, during special events, or for relaxation. The role involves working closely with various teams to meet and exceed member expectations, providing excellent food and beverage service, and maintaining high service standards. The environment is fast-paced, food service-oriented, fun, upbeat, and friendly, with a team-oriented staff. The area is casual and golf-centric, interacting with other club operations like golf, bath and tennis, a la carte dining, and catering. The club offers consistent scheduling, daily routines, and multiple special events throughout the season. It is a workplace filled with people who care about doing good work, serving members and guests, and supporting their colleagues.

Requirements

Must be at least 21 years old
Possess strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask and work independently.
Open availability preferred.
Candidates must be able to work nights and weekends, be flexible, and perform in various roles based on the club's needs and workspace.
Previous food and beverage experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Work closely with multiple teams and teammates to fulfill and exceed member expectations.
Provide excellent food and beverage service to members & guests, ensuring satisfaction.
Follow procedures and protocols to ensure the entire team is set up to succeed in providing great experiences to our members!
Consistently be available to members and guests via the Men's Grill, Men's Locker Room, and Halfway House.
Ensure the proper set up of individual rooms and areas daily.
Maintain consistent high service standards, as outlined in training.
Display complete and comprehensive knowledge of the menu, including daily features and specials that may not be available directly on the menu.
Follow daily opening/closing procedures, complete daily checklists, and independently execute day-to-day operations.
Guarantee all areas are member-ready at all times.
Accurately execute member and guest orders and requests in a timely fashion.
Become familiar with members' names and greet them accordingly to provide a warm welcome that will make them feel right at home.
Assist fellow team members in providing unique, personalized service that cannot be found anywhere else!
Responsible for possessing explicit knowledge of all various liquors, corresponding mixed drinks, beers, and wines offered by the Club.
Follow all club protocols regarding safety for our members, employees, and yourself.
