About The Position

This role involves providing exceptional service to members and guests in the Men's Locker Room and also serving as a Server/Bartender. Responsibilities include taking orders, serving food and beverages, maintaining knowledge of menu items, preparing alcoholic beverages, assisting members with their clothing and shoes, and ensuring the cleanliness and upkeep of the locker room and other club areas. The position requires a high level of customer service, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

• Must have valid TABC certification to serve alcohol.
• Must have valid Food Handler’s certification to serve food (per Texas law).

Responsibilities

• Take orders, input orders into the POS, and serve food and beverages.
• Be knowledgeable about all food and beverage products and their preparation.
• Comply with all Club food and beverage service standards.
• Prepare and serve alcoholic beverages and cocktails.
• Assist members and guests with clothing, golf shoes, street shoes, and other needs in the Locker Room.
• Assist with shoe care and ensure accurate member/guest shoe delivery.
• Assist with the care and maintenance of the Locker Room and Fire Pit.
• Keep all areas tidy and neat, performing Porter and Housekeeping duties as requested.
• Maintain a clean, neat, and professional appearance.
• Provide equal and immediate attention to all members/guests upon arrival.
• Verify accuracy of member number and prices before presenting the check for signature.
• Handle complaints effectively and communicate them to management immediately.
• Work with a "sense of urgency" for members without disrupting the locker room atmosphere.
• Keep popcorn and snack area stocked, refreshed, and clean.
• Perform opening and closing duties as assigned.
• Properly execute the POS system (Jonas) for accurate communication.
• Perform other related duties as requested by Supervisor or Manager.
• Cross-train and assist in other areas of the club as needed.
• Drive a golf cart on property and in the neighborhood when required.
• Submit all cash tips according to the Pooling Tip Policy.
• Treat all members and guests equally and according to Club standards.
• Do not serve alcohol to intoxicated members/guests or anyone under 21; always ask for ID if age is a concern.
• Report intoxicated members/guests and children asking for alcoholic beverages to supervisor or manager immediately.
• Offer alternate transportation to members/guests who appear impaired and are driving.
• Comply with all TABC and Club regulations concerning alcoholic beverage service.
