About The Position

The Bistro at the Atlantic Oceanside Hotel and Event Center is seeking a friendly, professional, and motivated Server/Bartender to join their team in a full-time, year-round role. In this position, you will provide attentive table service while also crafting and serving beverages at the bar. You will be a key part of delivering an exceptional dining experience for hotel guests and local diners alike. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys connecting with guests, and takes pride in delivering high-quality service. Requirements

Previous serving and/or bartending experience preferred
Strong guest service and communication skills
Ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast-paced environment
Knowledge of cocktails, beer, wine, and food pairings is a plus
Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs
Must be available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
Valid alcohol service certification or ability to obtain one

Responsibilities

Provide friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable service to guests
Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently
Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes and standards
Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining room and bar areas
Handle cash, credit card transactions, and POS systems accurately
Ensure compliance with all alcohol service laws and company policies
Work collaboratively with kitchen and front-of-house teams
Assist with opening and closing side work as needed
