About The Position

As a Restaurant Bartender/Server, you will play a pivotal role in delivering an exceptional dining and social experience by expertly preparing and serving a wide range of beverages. Your responsibilities will include crafting classic and innovative cocktails, managing bar inventory, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace to ensure efficiency and safety. You will engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner, providing recommendations and ensuring their satisfaction throughout their visit. This role requires a strong understanding of drink recipes, customer service excellence, and the ability to work collaboratively with the restaurant team. Ultimately, your contribution will enhance the overall atmosphere and reputation of the establishment, encouraging repeat business and positive word-of-mouth referrals.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 1 year of experience working as a bartender in a restaurant or bar setting.
  • Knowledge of standard drink recipes and bartending techniques.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks.
  • Legal age to serve alcohol in the United States and compliance with all local and state alcohol service laws.

Nice To Haves

  • Certification in responsible alcohol service (e.g., TIPS, ServSafe Alcohol).
  • Experience with point-of-sale (POS) systems and cash handling procedures.
  • Strong knowledge of craft cocktails, wine, and beer varieties.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Previous experience in a high-volume or fast-paced restaurant environment.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standardized recipes and customer preferences.
  • Engage with guests to take orders, provide recommendations, and ensure a welcoming and enjoyable experience.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and equipment.
  • Monitor inventory levels, restock supplies, and communicate with management regarding ordering needs.

  • Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to coordinate timely service and resolve any customer concerns.
