About The Position

The Dory is seeking an enthusiastic bartender to provide an excellent guest drinking experience. No experience is needed! This role requires strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. The ideal candidate must be able to prioritize, delegate, and respond in a timely fashion, work under pressure, multi-task, and stay focused with constant interruptions. A good understanding of hotel restaurant operations, including food and beverage knowledge, steps of service, and cash management is essential. The role is responsible for maintaining exceptional service levels for all events and driving sales growth through menu knowledge. The candidate should be perceptive, proactive, and engaging, anticipating guest needs and relaying customer interactions and complaints. A positive attitude and sincere enthusiasm are key to setting the tone for success. Clear and consistent communication with leadership and restaurant staff is required, ensuring efficient and effective customer service. The Server/Bartender must be a good example to team members and be able to communicate restaurant and hotel promotions, local attractions, and points of interest.
