About The Position

The Turning Point is hiring a Server Barista for its award-winning, daytime-only breakfast, brunch, and lunch restaurant. The restaurant closes every day at 3 p.m. The role includes serving customers, delivering beverages, maintaining a clean and organized section, running food, handling payments, completing shift side work, and preparing specialty beverages according to guidelines. Employees may have opportunities to pick up shifts at other locations in NJ, PA, and DE or transfer locations if they relocate.

Requirements

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Ability to carry or lift up to 20 pounds.

Nice To Haves

• Prior restaurant experience is recommended but not required.

Responsibilities

• Take customer orders for food and beverages.
• Deliver beverages in a timely manner.
• Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and appearance of the assigned section.
• Run food to the bar and teammates’ tables as needed.
• Collect customer payments and provide change in a timely and courteous manner.
• Manage designated side work for each shift.
• Prepare specialty beverages according to guidelines.
