About The Position

We are hiring PT/FT baristas for Eagle View Bistro for another epic summer season. As a Barista, you form an important part of our front-line staff. Your excellent communication skills, positive outlook, and general knowledge of the resort and the bistro will play a key role in providing an agreeable experience to our guests. Working closely with other servers and cashiers, as a Barista you will take orders from guests, create specialty coffees and pastries, ensure guests’ satisfaction, handle our guests’ payments, and resolve their complaints/concerns.

Requirements

• Excellent communication, customer service, and time management skills
• Professional appearance and attitude
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations
• Knowledge of food and beverage products
• SIR required
• 10 hour shift availability

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience, especially with handling cash an asset
• FOODSAFE certification an asset
• Point-of-sale system experience an asset

Responsibilities

• Take and relay food and beverage orders
• Create specialty coffees and pastries
• Serve food and beverages to guests
• Ensure guest satisfaction
• Resolve complaints and concerns of guests
• Provide food and beverage product knowledge
• Use proper serving techniques
• Handle payments from guests
• Cash out and reconcile cash with totals
• SIR required
• 10 hour shift availability
• flexible to do other tasks, ( dishes, food runner ect)
