About The Position

This is a part time position, responsible for delivering and serving food and beverage items to banquet guests in a timely, friendly and efficient manner. The role also involves assisting with set up and teardown of events and aiding other banquet staff. Applicants must be at least 21 years of age. Requirements

Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
Effective communication skills, oral & written.
Strong sense of customer service & safety awareness.
Able to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
Have a neat & clean appearance in compliance with the company grooming standards.
Punctual, able to report at scheduled start time.
Work well as part of a team.
Able to remain patient, calm and composed in a fast paced, high volume demanding environment.
Able to multi-task and handle high volume service demands.
High School Diploma or GED.
One year serving experience.
Must have or be able to obtain a California Food Handlers card.

Knowledge and familiarity with Palisades Tahoe.

Responsibilities

Assist with dining area and buffet line set up as needed.
Serve guest at buffet line standard portion size, with guest requests taken into consideration.
Ensure the timing and flow of service is correctly paced.
Set up serving trays, carry trays to dining area.
Refill beverages, rolls, condiments as needed.
Communicates with wait staff, cooks and manager about guest needs, business levels as needed.
Bus tables, carry plates, glasses to bus station or dish station.
Assist with breakdown of event.
Exhibit menu, beverage, and wine knowledge.
Adhere to all state liquor laws and state health regulations.
Adhere to the Palisades Tahoe Safety policy and all other company standards, policies, and procedures.
