About The Position

This is a part-time Server Assistant position focused on supporting the dining room operations and ensuring excellent guest service. The role involves a variety of tasks from greeting guests and managing reservations to assisting servers, expediting food orders, and maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the dining area. The ideal candidate will have strong communication and customer service skills, the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, and a flexible schedule.

Responsibilities

  • Greet and seat guests while managing reservations to ensure an efficient dining flow
  • Answer phone calls and respond to guest inquiries professionally
  • Coordinate and organize reservations, group seating, and special requests
  • Monitor dining room activity, identify newly seated guests, and notify servers promptly
  • Maintain a fast-paced, high-energy work style while delivering excellent guest service
  • Assist service staff by delivering food and beverages accurately and promptly
  • Expedite food orders by organizing and building tickets on the kitchen line
  • Fill and refill guest water glasses to ensure attentive service
  • Pre-bus tables by removing plates, glassware, and unnecessary items throughout the meal
  • Clean and reset tables quickly after guest departure, ensuring readiness for the next party
  • Monitor guest satisfaction and provide attentive service throughout the dining experience
  • Prepare and reset tables, ensuring cleanliness and proper setup standards
  • Maintain knowledge of menu items, including ingredients and dietary restrictions
  • Support team members across departments to enhance overall service quality
  • Complete opening, closing, and side work duties
  • Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and organization of dining and service areas
  • Ensure all equipment is functioning properly and report maintenance needs
  • Follow all company policies, safety procedures, and service standards
  • Handle to-go orders and assist with guest requests as needed
