About The Position
The Server Assistant is responsible for maintaining a clean and organized dining environment. This role involves clearing tables, resetting them, ensuring the floor is clean, and transporting dishware to the dish pit. The Server Assistant also supports servers by refilling drinks, running food, pre-bussing tables, and serving water to guests. Additional duties may be assigned by management.
Requirements
- Ability to repetitively use arms, hands and fingers.
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members.
- Positive attitude when working with peers.
- Basic understanding of professional cooking and knife handling skills.
- Understands sanitation.
- Knowledge of employment and merchandise handling procedures.
Responsibilities
- Clean off all plate and glassware from tables that have left.
- Re-set table.
- Maintain a clean floor throughout the restaurant.
- Bring all dishware to the dish pit for cleaning.
- Assist servers in refilling drinks, running food, and pre-bussing tables.
- Filling water and tea for guests.
- Serving water to guests upon arrival.
- Any other duties as directed by management.
