About The Position

This is a part-time Server Assistant position for the Ansley Room, located in Atlanta, GA. The role involves food running and bussing duties. The position is hourly wage only, with no tips or commission. Availability for weekday nights and weekend nights is required.

Requirements

• Must be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time.
• Must be able to safely lift and easily maneuver trays of food and drink.
• Must be able to pour beverages such as water and wine.
• Occasional bending.
• Occasional sitting.
• Weekday nights and weekend nights availability.

Responsibilities

• Prepare silverware, soup station, expo line, beverage area, and glassware for service.
• Run food to tables, ensuring correct delivery order and guest satisfaction.
• Bus tables effectively using a tray, removing dirty dishes and silverware.
• Act as a food expeditor, understanding the menu, garnishes, and order tickets.
• Assist the culinary team with order assembly and pacing.
• Reset tables thoroughly after guests leave, ensuring cleanliness and proper setup.
• Communicate with the hostess when tables are ready to be seated.
• Keep kitchen stations organized and stocked with necessary supplies.
• Prepare and clean the back kitchen area, completing closing shift duties.
