About The Position

Manthey Hospitality is hiring a part-time Server Assistant for Yacht StarShip dining cruises at Clearwater Marina in Clearwater, Florida. The role supports attentive dining service and guest experiences aboard a moving vessel, working closely with servers and crew in a fast-paced restaurant and marine environment. Duties include preparing and maintaining dining and guest areas, assisting with food and beverage service, clearing tables, restocking supplies, and completing cleaning and assigned opening and closing tasks. The position requires comfort working aboard a moving vessel and performing physical tasks in indoor and outdoor conditions. Restaurant experience is preferred but not required.

Requirements

• Ability to carry items up to 50 lbs and navigate stairs safely.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical tasks for extended periods in a variety of indoor and outdoor weather conditions.
• Availability for evenings, weekends, holidays, and extended shifts as needed.
• Ability to work 2–5 hour cruises, with occasional shifts up to 12 hours.

Responsibilities

• Set and reset dining areas, including tables, menus, and décor.
• Keep dining rooms, service stations, and guest areas clean and organized.
• Assist servers with food and beverage delivery.
• Clear tables and restock supplies during service.
• Support smooth and efficient service during busy periods.
• Follow health, sanitation, and vessel safety procedures.
• Complete assigned opening, closing, and cleaning duties.
• Work closely with the crew to ensure a seamless guest experience.
