About The Position

The Server Assistant will assist servers on the delivery of beverage and food in the appropriate order while ensuring a 5-star dining experience. This role reports to the venue's Shift Manager and General Manager.

Requirements

• ABLE Certification
• 18 years old to serve
• 21 years old to bartend
• Teamwork skills are required to support the success and enjoyment of the guest.
• Basic knowledge of service standards, guest relations, food and beverage preparations

Responsibilities

• Aid servers in the serving of dining guests.
• Assist servers on the delivery of beverage and food in the appropriate order.
• Greet and welcome guests and respond to their requests and inquiries.
• Set/reset tables with appropriate linen and small wares always following food and beverage standards.
• Perform side work according to responsibilities assigned by manager always providing a safe and clean work environment.
• Remove dishes as guests finish each course or when empty dishes are visible.
• Ensure areas are clean, organized, and restocked throughout shift.
• Understand safety responsibilities and environmental laws by following established procedures, policies, and training.
• Perform other tasks that may be assigned.
