About The Position
The Server Assistant is responsible for maintaining a clean and organized dining environment. This role involves clearing tables, resetting them, ensuring the floor is clean, and assisting servers with various tasks to provide a seamless dining experience for guests. The Server Assistant plays a crucial part in the overall efficiency and guest satisfaction of the restaurant.
Requirements
- Ability to repetitively use arms, hands and fingers.
- Ability to communicate effectively with team members.
- Positive attitude when working with peers.
- Basic understanding of professional cooking and knife handling skills.
- Understand sanitation.
- Knowledge of employment and merchandise handling procedures.
Responsibilities
- Clean off all plate and glassware from tables that have left.
- Re-set tables.
- Maintain a clean floor throughout the restaurant.
- Bring all dishware to the dish pit for cleaning.
- Assist servers in refilling drinks, running food, and pre-bussing tables.
- Fill water and tea for guests.
- Serve water to guests upon arrival.
- Perform any other duties as directed by management.
