About The Position

Suncadia is hiring a seasonal Server Assistant to support its Restaurants, Bars, and Events team, working in both The Source Restaurant and Banquets. Server Assistants help keep the dining room and banquet hall running smoothly by preparing tables, maintaining beverages, and supporting servers with communication and organization. The role calls for attention to detail, a positive attitude, and a guest-service mindset.

This temporary seasonal position provides holiday support, with targeted dates from November 16, 2026, through January 19, 2027. Hours may fluctuate and are expected to peak around Christmas and New Year’s. Pay is $17.13 per hour, increasing to $17.73 per hour on January 1, 2027.

Requirements

• Availability to work a varied schedule that includes evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Current Washington state food handler permit, or ability to obtain one within 30 days of hire.
• Ability to work well with others and function in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to communicate well with team members and customers.
• Knowledge of food and beverage products.

Responsibilities

• Clear and reset tables to standards.
• Ensure silverware is free of spots and fingerprints and glassware is not chipped.
• Work carefully to avoid breakage and loss.
• Keep refillable beverages full.
• Notify the server when bringing coffee, tea, or other beverages to tables so they can be charged properly.
• Inform the server of potential guest issues.
• Stock and restock appropriate linens.
• Stock and restock stations with appropriate glasses, plates, and saucers.
• Complete assigned side work, which is mandatory and checked by the manager on duty.
• Comply with Suncadia policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
