About The Position

Suncadia is hiring a seasonal Server Assistant to support The Source Restaurant and Banquets during the holiday season. Server Assistants help keep the dining room and banquet hall operating smoothly by maintaining guest-ready tables, refilling beverages, and communicating and coordinating with servers. The position is temporary and seasonal, with targeted dates from November 16, 2026, through January 19, 2027. Hours may fluctuate and are expected to peak around Christmas and New Year’s. The pay rate is $17.13 per hour, increasing to $17.73 on January 1, 2027.

Requirements

• Availability to work a varied schedule that includes evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• A current Washington state food handler permit, or ability to obtain one within 30 days of hire.
• Ability to work well with others in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to communicate well with team members and customers.
• Knowledge of food and beverage products.

Responsibilities

• Clear and reset tables to standards.
• Ensure silverware is free of spots and fingerprints and glassware is not chipped.
• Work carefully to avoid breakage and loss.
• Keep refillable beverages full.
• Notify servers when bringing coffee, tea, or other beverages to tables so the beverages can be charged properly.
• Inform servers of potential guest issues.
• Stock and restock appropriate linens.
• Stock and restock stations with appropriate glasses, plates, and saucers.
• Complete assigned side work, which is mandatory and checked by the manager on duty.
• Comply with Suncadia policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
