About The Position

The Sports Grill Server Assistant is responsible for maintaining a clean and organized dining area, supporting the service team, and ensuring a positive Guest experience. This includes tasks like pre-bussing and clearing tables, setting up tables, stocking service stations, and assisting with Guest requests. They also play a vital role in maintaining the restaurant's cleanliness and sanitation standards. Responsibilities are performed in accordance with all Company standards, policies, and procedures. This position will report directly to the Sports Grill Assistant Manager.

High School diploma or GED preferred.
Minimum of one (1) year experience in a full-service restaurant required; high-volume restaurant experience preferred.
Current Food Handler certification and RBS certificate required or ability to acquire one (employer will provide upon hire).
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Gaming License from the Tribal Gaming Commission, which includes passing a background investigation.
Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

Practicing, supporting, and promoting North Fork Mono Casino's culture and always demonstrating exemplary Service Standards.
Clearing dirty dishes, utensils and glassware, wiping down tables, and resetting them with clean linens, silverware and glassware (if applicable).
Assisting servers by delivering food and beverages, delivering and refilling water glasses, and responding to Guest requests.
Ensuring service stations are well-stocked with necessary supplies such as napkins, silverware, condiments, and glassware.
Sweeping and mopping floors, emptying trash receptacles, and maintaining a clean and organized dining area.
Providing friendly and efficient service to Guests, including directing them to restrooms and exits.
Collaborating with other Team Members, including servers, hosts, bartenders, and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service.
Adhering to all restaurant safety and sanitation guidelines, including proper food handling and cleaning protocols.
Ensuring a professional and presentable appearance, reflecting the restaurant's dining standards.
Other job-related duties as assigned.
