About The Position

As a Server Assistant, you support restaurant servers and enhance the dining experience by clearing dishes, resetting tables, offering bread and water service, refilling non-alcoholic drinks, and running food. The role also includes maintaining clean and stocked dining areas, helping guests with requests, and contributing to a positive organizational culture.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED, recognized equivalent of a high school diploma (RED), or foreign high school diploma (FHD).
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to foster a supportive, enabling team environment.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Ability to lift 30 pounds.
Ability to stand and walk for an 8-hour shift.
Willingness to work weekends and holidays.
Proven ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.
Willingness to work in a smoking environment.
Willingness to adhere to company health and safety measures.

Nice To Haves

One year of previous experience as a server or server assistant in a full-service restaurant environment.

Responsibilities

Promote superior guest service.
Maintain and perpetuate a positive organizational culture according to the principles of the Spirit of Tâlícn and the Core Values of ilani.
Clear dirty dishes, glasses, and silverware; sanitize tables and reset them for new guests.
Assist with cleaning and processing dirty dishes and silverware.
Deliver food and beverages, refill water and drinks, and bring bread or condiments to assist servers.
Greet guests, assist with seating, and respond to requests in a friendly, professional manner.
Clean and replenish menus, crockery, and cutlery between tables.
Manage and restock napkins, linen, silverware, plates, cutlery, straws, salt, pepper, condiments, and other supplies.
Move tables, chairs, and furniture to accommodate customers as needed.
Maintain floor cleanliness by sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming.
Assist customers with questions and requests, and redirect them as necessary.
Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
Perform other duties as assigned.
