About The Position
This is a full-time Server Assistant position at a steakhouse located at Harrah's Gulf Coast. The role requires excellent customer service and communication skills, the ability to engage in professional and friendly conversation, and a willingness to participate in ongoing training in the food and beverage field. The Server Assistant must maintain knowledge of current property events, promotions, and attractions, and possess an outgoing personality to generate business. They should be able to work independently with little supervision, be comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, and work effectively both independently and in a team setting. A well-groomed appearance and adherence to uniform/appearance requirements are essential. The role also requires the ability to be friendly with all team members from diverse ethnic and cultural backgrounds and to accept direction from Senior Leadership.
Requirements
- Must pass a drug test.
- Must possess excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must be willing to participate in on-going training in the food and beverage field.
- Must present a well-groomed appearance.
- Must adhere to uniform/appearance requirements.
- Ability to appreciate and be friendly with all Harrah’s Gulf Coast team members who are of various ethnic and cultural backgrounds.
