About The Position

Delaware North Parks and Resorts is hiring a part-time Server Assistant at Courtyard at Kennedy in Titusville, Florida. The role supports dining-room operations by maintaining cleanliness and sanitation, clearing and resetting tables, assisting with food running and guest requests, and completing other assigned duties. The position calls for strong time management, prioritization, and the ability to respond to changing needs in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. This is a tipped position; the stated hourly wage can average $17.00, consisting of $15.00 base pay plus tips, with top performers potentially earning more.

The workplace is at Courtyard by Marriott Titusville - Kennedy Space Center, an Intracoastal-waterway resort hotel across from Kennedy Space Center's launchpads. Amenities include a rooftop bar and restaurant, an expansive outdoor pool, and other hotel facilities. The role may involve working outside in varying environmental conditions.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
• Ability to lift, balance, and move food trays weighing up to 35 pounds.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive motions; work may include walking up and down stairs.
• Ability to maneuver between tables and around corners.
• Ability to work outside in various environmental conditions.

Nice To Haves

• Experience or training as a Runner or Busser in a similar style of dining, capacity, and volume.

Responsibilities

• Check in with management for daily assignments and attend pre-shift briefings.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the dining room.
• Remove dirty dishes, silverware, and empty glasses from guest tables between courses and after guests depart.
• Reset tables after guests leave according to the floor plan or management instructions.
• Assist with counting china, glassware, silverware, and linen.
• Run food and handle guest requests.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
