Server Assistant/Food Runner/Hostess
About The Position
St. Clair Country Club, located eight miles from downtown Pittsburgh in the South Hills, is seeking motivated, reliable, and passionate individuals to join their dining room service team. These positions are ideal for candidates with no prior food & beverage experience looking to gain skills, or for those under 18 seeking exposure to prepare for server or bartender roles. The club offers continuous development opportunities across its multiple restaurants, bars, and banquet operations. The club operates year-round, with extended hours during the in-season (April-October) and reduced hours during the off-season (October-March). Availability on weekends and holidays is essential.

Responsibilities
- Greets and provides outstanding service with a smile to our members and their guests in a professional and courteous manner.
- Displays teamwork and doing "whatever it takes" to deliver optimum member/guest experience.
- Assists servers in their duties including: Make sure tables, chairs, and surrounding areas are detailed and ready for member arrival, including pre-setting water.
- Provides continuous assistance throughout meals including bread service, re-fill water, clear dirty dishes after each course, clear tables at the end of meal, clean and sanitize tables & chairs, and reset tables.
- Remains productive throughout shift with opening/closing side work assigned by Manager.
- Lift and carry up to 15-25 pounds regularly.
