About The Position

Cece's Roland Park is hiring a Server Assistant/Busser to support service in its main dining area and adjacent kitchen. The venue features European cuisine, house-made pastas, artisan pizzas, and an al fresco courtyard. The role assists the serving staff, helps ensure guest needs are met, and maintains clean, orderly service stations and dining areas. The position starts at $5.50 per hour plus tips.

Requirements

Fluent English; communication skills are used frequently when interacting with guests, employees, and third parties.
Ability to interact with guests, employees, and third parties in a way that reflects well on the venue, brand, and company.
Reading and writing abilities to answer guest questions about the menu.
Basic mathematical skills.
Strong attention to detail.
Ability to carry or lift items weighing up to 75 pounds.
Ability to handle food, utensils, products, and bussing tubs or trays.
Ability to stand, bend, stoop, and kneel.
Ability to move safely and efficiently throughout the facility.

Nice To Haves

Prior customer service and/or restaurant experience.
Fluency in languages other than English.

Keep service stations clean and orderly throughout the shift, and restock them.
Clear and clean tables promptly, then reset them according to location specifications.

Communicate effectively with coworkers and guests, including with patience, courtesy, and good humor.
Complete assigned side work.
Maintain a clean and orderly work area to support safety.
Clear empty tables and set tables for new guests.
