About The Position

Retell AI is seeking an SEO Strategist to own organic growth end-to-end, from strategy to execution. The role involves building a compounding growth engine across Google search, AI-native surfaces (like ChatGPT and Perplexity), and programmatic/product-driven SEO. This is a high-ownership position where the individual will design systems, build content moats, and create leverage, rather than just optimizing pages. Retell AI is a fast-growing voice AI startup backed by prominent investors, aiming to build a modern CX platform powered by AI.

Requirements

3+ years of experience in SEO or growth roles
Proven track record of driving 10x+ growth through SEO
Strong experience with technical SEO and on-page optimization
Hands-on execution ability (shipping work, not just planning)
Experience using AI tools to scale content and workflows

Nice To Haves

Experience with programmatic SEO
Experience optimizing for AI-native search (ChatGPT, Perplexity, etc.)
Background in SaaS, developer tools, or technical products
Startup experience or working in fast-moving environments

Responsibilities

Own SEO strategy end-to-end
Define how Retell wins across search and AI discovery channels
Build content as a "source of truth" by creating and maintaining core content pillars that dominate key topics
Ensure consistency across documentation, blog, landing pages, and product
Design scalable growth systems, including programmatic SEO and repeatable content loops
Turn one idea into hundreds or thousands of high-quality pages
Leverage AI deeply to generate, maintain, and evolve content, and build workflows that keep content fresh and accurate
Own technical SEO and on-page optimization, including improving site architecture, indexing, crawlability, and performance
Continuously optimize pages for both ranking and conversion
Partner with product and engineering to embed SEO into product surfaces and user workflows
Influence how the product itself generates organic growth
Experiment aggressively with unconventional ideas, moving fast, learning fast, and doubling down on what works
