About The Position

Our client is seeking a Mid-Senior SEO Specialist to drive organic growth across multiple international markets. This position can be based in either Malta or Vienna and offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic, data-driven environment focused on long-term digital growth.

Requirements

  • Minimum 4 years of hands-on SEO experience, ideally within competitive or international markets.
  • Strong technical SEO knowledge, including crawling, indexing, JavaScript SEO, schema markup, and site architecture.
  • Experience using tools such as Screaming Frog, Ahrefs, Semrush, Google Search Console, and GA4.
  • Good understanding of international SEO and multi-market website management.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into meaningful business recommendations.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with content, product, and development teams.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with AI-powered search optimisation (AEO/GEO) would be considered an advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct technical SEO audits and identify opportunities for website optimisation.
  • Manage crawling, indexing, site architecture, internal linking, and structured data implementation.
  • Monitor website performance and Core Web Vitals.
  • Work closely with development teams to resolve technical SEO issues.
  • Support international SEO initiatives, including hreflang implementation.
  • Develop and execute keyword research and content strategies.
  • Conduct competitor analysis, market research, and search trend monitoring.
  • Stay up to date with search engine algorithm changes and recommend appropriate actions.
  • Prioritise SEO initiatives based on business impact and growth opportunities.
  • Analyse performance data and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Create SEO content briefs and optimise existing content.
  • Develop topic clusters and scalable content frameworks.
  • Optimise pages for search intent, SERP features, and E-E-A-T best practices.
  • Support AI search visibility initiatives and generative search optimisation (GEO/AEO).
  • Optimise content for AI-powered search experiences and answer engines.
  • Evaluate and implement AI tools for SEO research, content optimisation, and workflow automation.
  • Monitor developments in AI search and emerging organic discovery channels.
  • Track rankings, traffic, visibility, and conversion metrics.
  • Build reports and dashboards using SEO and analytics platforms.
  • Support attribution, tracking, and performance measurement initiatives.
  • Present regular performance reports and recommendations to stakeholders.
