Signature Media is a home services marketing agency specializing in paid advertising, SEO, and AI search optimization for companies in the roofing, foundation repair, waterproofing, plumbing, and pest control sectors across the US. The agency's focus is on generating qualified leads that convert into booked jobs, influencing all aspects of their work from website development to reporting. They are a small, close-knit team seeking an individual who desires ownership and is looking for a fully remote role open to candidates anywhere in the US.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of SEO experience across a multi-client portfolio
  • Agency experience strongly preferred
  • Hands-on technical SEO: site audits, schema, internal linking, page speed, migrations
  • Google Business Profile and multi-location local SEO experience
  • Daily use of AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT) as part of a real workflow, with judgment to not ship lazy AI output
  • Comfort building expertise in AI search – willingness to learn and ship faster than the field is moving
  • Plain-language reporting; ability to defend a recommendation with data

  • Home services background: roofing, foundation repair, waterproofing, plumbing, pest control, or similar trades
  • Hands-on experience with AI-visibility tracking platforms
  • Experience adapting SEO work for AI-driven search results

Responsibilities

  • Own organic strategy across a multi-client home services portfolio, focusing on technical SEO, structured data, schema, Google Business Profile, and content topical coverage.
  • Develop and implement AI search strategies, including LLM citation strategies, AI Overviews positioning, conversational-query optimization, and AI-visibility measurement.
  • Conduct hands-on testing of new GEO tactics, validating schema approaches, and debugging AI-visibility shifts.
  • Document processes, automate, or delegate tasks after initial in-depth work.
  • Apply strategic thinking across clients at scale, avoiding time spent on tasks like writing blog posts or manually responding to reviews.
  • Oversee AI workflows, admin support, and contractors for content drafting, Google Business Profile work, and PR outreach execution.
  • Track performance through to closed jobs, focusing on qualified leads from organic and AI search.
  • Audit incoming accounts for technical SEO debt, Google Business Profile health, content topical gaps, and AI-search visibility.
  • Build per-client SEO and GEO strategy, including keyword and topical coverage maps, content brief priorities, Google Business Profile optimization roadmaps, and AI-search positioning.
  • Architect structured data and schema (LocalBusiness, Service, FAQ, HowTo, speakable, entity relationships) across client sites.
  • Operate AI-visibility measurement tools to baseline clients, track shifts, and identify opportunities.
  • Set Google Business Profile strategy and standards across the portfolio (categories, services, posts, review cadence, Q&A, photo direction).
  • Lead planning and AI-system training for content production, defining topical strategy, brief structure, and quality bar.
  • Own digital PR strategy for GEO authority, defining target publications, angles, and asset opportunities.
  • QA/QC SEO and GEO accuracy on website projects.
  • Partner with the paid search team on conversion improvements.
  • Utilize Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, Google Search Console, GA4, and AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT) daily.
  • Build automations and workflows for repeatable processes.
  • Deliver weekly reporting in plain language, explaining changes, reasons, and next steps.
